Was there for the first time and also for the last time. 1. Table for 18 people pre-ordered, when you arrive at the restaurant you are looked at in surprise and greeted with the sentence "the 18 people are already there". 2. Guests had to vacate their space so that there was enough space for us. 3. The menu / drinks menu came quite quickly, but it took about 30 minutes until our orders were taken. We waited about 30 minutes for the drinks. 4. To take our food was also pretty quick .. then we were told to wait until the food arrives .. ok it can happen. All in all, we waited 2 hours for our food. In the meantime we were comforted with "drinks and bread on the house". When the food finally came one was no longer hungry. But everyone tried it. 5. To eat. The meat was cold, tough and for the most part still raw. The potatoes were still completely hard and partly cold. The salad, if you can call it that, wasn't a salad for me, no spice or dressing, just put it on a small plate and that's it. 6. Finally, the coronation. When we got the bill of over 300 €, I didn't see a person paying the full price .. so I tried to find a compromise with the owner after all that back and forth .. His statement on it: "We're sorry, I can only credit a voucher "ok, I thought voucher sounds good. When I got the voucher worth 40 € everything stayed away ... 40 € voucher for 18 people that was and is really ridiculous .. There were just 2 dishes covered ... and here I am I don't want to write a book, that's it now too ..

The food was nothing, didn't taste good, the meat was hardly seasoned, the salad was dead as it had been on top for ages. We were at 7 p.m. and the meal came at half past ten. The gyros grottoes bad, full of fat and knopel. We're definitely not going there anymore .. Not recommendable. I would have loved to give zero stars ..

Unfortunately, never again. After a nice day in Bad Zwischenahn, we were looking forward to a cozy and delicious evening. But unfortunately that was nothing. 1. We have reserved a table for 18 people, this was not available on arrival and the statement 'How 18 people, they are already there !? ', so other people have probably received our table. So our group was divided into 3 tables in the restaurant. To be coped with, but very, very unfortunate, you could not talk to each other etc. 2. Eating took forever. When this started, the waitress, who was still nice, told us that it would take an hour until the food was on the table. Okay you can take an hour, all orders taken and we waited an incredible 2 1/2 for the food. (In the meantime you were put off with a free drink and free bread) Everyone was in a bad mood, nobody was really hungry anymore. And then? Food inedible. Meat dish not through, cold, dry, no taste. Due to the inconvenience of the house. No accommodating, a 40 € voucher, with a total bill of 320 € we were offered So 40 € booked directly on the bill and sorry, unfortunately never again. Very very very disappointed. Especially since we weren't the only ones in the restaurant who felt that way. Others had the same problem and others sat in the pitch black because no lights were working

Ordered table not received have been spread over three tables. We have never eaten so badly. Salad was just a tomato quartered and two slices of cucumber quartered not seasoned no dressing. Hm. The food was terrible. Dry, lukewarm, carelessly prepared, tough ... And you wait 2 hours for all of this. Simply bad. So not us again. Too expensive for that. Actually not worth 1 star.

Today was the first time to eat in the Akropolis and I have to say that it was really very, very tasty. The liver is really a poem. The gyros is very tasty seasoned. One would like to come back here

We were there today for our company Christmas party, the restaurant was fully booked. The food was there relatively quickly after ordering and very tasty. The service was perfect and always attentive with a casual saying on the spot. We would be happy to come back.

The Akropolis restaurant is located in Petersfehn, between Oldenburg and Bad Zwischenahn. You can park well in front of or next to the house. At the entrance you are greeted very friendly, with a handshake. Such a greeting has become rare and I am happy every time. The dining room is very cozy. There are benches almost everywhere (below), which I personally like very much. Then there is a pedestal, you can also sit there. The restaurant has a very large menu, there are gyros and meat platters. But also fish, beef, lamb, pork, pasta, salads and a children's menu. The service and the kitchen are very quick and attentive, and very friendly. All dishes are delicious, the portions will definitely fill "man" and "woman". So far we have tried the fish platter, gyros, gyros in Metaxa sauce and the pepper steak. Everything tasted very good. Every main course has a fresh salad. The bread we ordered with Tsatsiki was toasted and also delicious. Beer is served with a beer crown. I would recommend the Akropolis restaurant.
